Track Maintenance Worker - entry level Seminole Gulf Railway is seeking an entry level worker for our maintenance of way and track construction team. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Transport, load, and unload materials.
Operate track maintenance equipment, power tools, and hand tools such as portable grinders, spike pullers, rail saws, track wrenches, and spike drivers.
Provide safety watch while other team members are working.
Assist other employees as instructed.
Adhere to SGLR Safety Policies & Procedures at all times.
Perform other duties or tasks as assigned by the manager.
This job will be based in Fort Myers, FL but will report to locations throughout the territory operated by Seminole Gulf Railway. Additional consideration will be given to those candidates with prior construction, welding and or heavy equipment operation. Seminole Gulf Railway provides an excellent compensation package including:
competitive hourly wage paid every 2 weeks.

Paid every other week (26 times per year). Starting hourly wage of $22.00 per hour.
